Cariad Blooms

Floral Design

The name Cariad comes from my history having grown up primarily in Wales, in the UK. Welsh culture holds a lot of space in my heart. "Cariad" means "love" or "beloved" in Welsh. So, Cariad Blooms also means "Love Blooms". Our goal is to create beautiful works of floral art that usher in lasting memories.

Cariad Blooms Floral Design was born out of my love of artistic expression and need for a new creative outlet after having my first baby in 2023. I grew up trying everything from singing, theater, musical instruments, painting, you name it. Anything that required the right side of the brain and I was there, ready to put 100% of myself into whatever it was.

I still love all of those things, but what I love most about them is the way they make me feel when I'm experiencing them. The thrill, the warmth, the nostalgia, the joy. I have core memories associated with all of these things because of the way they made me feel.

Now as an adult and having worked in and around flowers, I realized that floral design could make me feel that way too. And so, after being a hobbyist and freelancer for a time, I decided to launch my own business! I am so excited to be on this journey and to have you here with me. I hope that wherever you are, you feel loved and someone buys you flowers. Because sometimes, flowers say what words cannot.

About the Owner and Creative Director

Hiya! Welcome to this space. My name is Livi (Olivia) Entsminger, and I am the face behind the brand! I was born in rural Kansas but moved overseas to Cardiff, and then Bedwas, Wales in the UK when I was 11 years old. Wales holds a lot of space in my heart, and I miss it every day. Now I live in Oklahoma City with my Air Force husband and our sweet nugget baby who have my whole heart. We have 2 dogs - a Lab-St. Bernard mix  named Grizz and a Great Dane named Moose. I love music and singing, and going on walks in chilly air. I've tried my hand at knitting, but that didn't go over as well as floral design. ;) Some of my favorite movies are Anne of Green Gables (1985 version) and Somewhere in Time. I love floral design and the way it can make people feel - whether in celebration, in grieving, or in love, I hope that my creations during these times of your life help you feel seen.

Xoxo
